In-company training

A 1-day course on “What is a datawarehouse” is available on request. This course gives you an insight in the do’s and don’ts of organizing your data in a data warehouse. Ranging from the history of data warehousing to architecture of a general datawarehouse solution. The course is aimed at people with at least a general knowledge or background in IT.

Data modelling

We maintain wikipedia pages on several data modelling methods. We have a large amount of experience with and/or good knowledge of Data Vault (certified), Anchor and Dimensional Modelling, as well as standard database modelling for applications.

Architecture and design

Standard design patterns and data warehouse automation are part of our architecture. Keywords: loose coupling, resilient, restartable, data-driven.

Best practices: ITIL, Prince2, Agile Development practices

In our work we use standard best practices such as ITIL, Prince 2 and Agile development practices, where applicable and desired.

ETL-tools

We can work with any ETL-tool, but have the most experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder and SAP Business Objects Data Integrator.

BI-tools

We are certified on Cognos BI-tools, up to Cognos 8.4. Other tools will take a few days to pick up. This qualifies you for a discount on our fee.

Validated software

We have experience working in a validated (pharmaceutical) environment.
